Job summary

Teaching Vacancies in Maidstone is seeking flexible individuals to step into classrooms as cover supervisors. You will supervise classes, following pre-prepared lesson plans to keep sessions running smoothly and help students stay on track with their learning.

You'll provide guidance to meet individual needs and work closely with teachers and the SENCO to monitor progress and ensure students are supported. This role offers an entry path into teaching in a vibrant school environment.

What will you be doing?

• Supervising classes: You'll take the reins when the teacher is away, following pre-prepared lesson plans and keeping things running smoothly.
• Supporting students: Provide guidance to help them work through tasks, adjusting your approach to meet their unique needs.
• Boosting progress: Help students make strides in literacy and numeracy, and make sure their learning is always moving forward.
• Team player: Work closely with teachers and the SENCO to keep track of student progress and make sure everyone is reaching their potential

What will you need to succeed?
