Job Title - Cover Supervisor

Salary - WPT Band 5 £28,163 - £30,060 (£22,793 - £24,329 pro-rata)

Hours - 34 hours per week, term time only

Contract Type - Permanent

Location - Wickersley School and Sports College

As a Cover Supervisor, you'll ensure continuity of learning during teachers' absences across our secondary schools. Your role includes delivering pre-prepared activities, managing classroom dynamics, and providing feedback, contributing to smooth school operations and student success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver activities prepared by the classroom teacher and supervise self-directed learning to ensure uninterrupted curriculum delivery.
• Set up the classroom with appropriate resources, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
• Provide immediate informal feedback to pupils, offering support and encouragement.
• Manage pupil behaviour and address immediate issues to ensure smooth learning and safety.
• Return completed work to teachers for further action or follow-up.
