Job description

Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Prospero is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to work within a school in the Wallasey area. The ideal candidate will have confidence in Mathematics, English, and another subject of their choice, and will work well with secondary school-aged pupils.

Contract/Position Details

• Position: Supply Teacher / Cover Supervisor
• Type of work: Long Term
• Start date: As soon as possible
• Contract type: Long-term Temporary
• Minimum pay rate: £95 per day
• Hours: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm

Experience, Training, and Qualifications

• Teaching Assistant qualification or higher/equivalent (Desirable)
• Previous experience working with young people
• Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (Desirable, but not essential as training can be provided)

Eligibility Criteria

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional references
