Cover Supervisor Team Leader

This is a full-time post.

8.00am – 3.05pm, term time plus inset days.

Salary: £25,630 per annum including Fringe Area Allowance. This post is paid on point 2 of the payscale for Unqualified Teachers.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to lead our team of Cover Supervisors.

You will lead the cover team in all aspects of their role and will manage and support the daily work of the cover team, as well as liaising with the Cover Administrator.

• As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise students when a teacher is absent. Your responsibilities will be to maintain a good learning atmosphere, assisting and supporting the students where necessary.

• Other duties may include being a Form Tutor, administrative tasks and supporting departments as necessary.

• We are looking for someone with enthusiasm, flexibility and a can-do approach. Experience of working within a school/classroom setting or with young people is desirable. Appropriate qualifications and experience of working with 11 – 16-year-olds are desirable

• You should be IT literate, familiar with MS Office applications, with good literacy and numeracy skills

• A full support network and training programme will be provided to the successful applicant.
