Job summary

Milk Education in the Guildford area is recruiting Cover Supervisors to support SEN schools with pre-planned lessons and a positive classroom environment.

This agency role offers flexible days, fast-track registration, and access to a range of CPD resources through Milk Academy to help you develop with students who have ASD, ADHD, SEMH and other needs. Ideal for graduates, experienced educators, or individuals with experience working with young people.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people (school, tutoring, coaching, youth work, mentoring, etc.).
• SEND experience desirable but not essential.
• Confident communication and classroom management skills.
• Patient, resilient, and supportive approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
• Support pupils with a range of additional needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and learning difficulties.
• Create a safe, positive, and engaging classroom environment.
• Support pupils with their learning, confidence and emotional development.
• Manage behaviour using positive and consistent strategies.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor in an SEN school, you will:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
