Job summary

Milk Education is seeking confident, reliable and motivated Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Surrey. As a Cover Supervisor, you will deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher and support students with their learning.

You will manage classroom behaviour, take attendance and ensure safeguarding procedures are followed. A degree (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential, with opportunities to gain experience across subjects and year groups.

• Confident communication and organisational skills.
• Experience working with children or young people (school, tutoring, coaching, youth work, mentoring, etc.).
• A positive, adaptable, and professional attitude.
• An interest in education and potentially training to become a teacher.
