Are you a confident and motivated graduate looking to gain valuable classroom experience? Are you considering a future career in teaching and want to build your skills in a supportive secondary school environment?

Protocol Education is recruiting on behalf of a well‑regarded, Ofsted‑rated ‘Outstanding’ secondary school in the London Borough of Haringey. The school is seeking a proactive and reliable Cover Supervisor to join their team on a full‑time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring teachers who are planning to pursue PGCE or Schools Direct training, offering hands‑on experience managing classrooms and supporting students across the secondary curriculum.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes during teacher absence, ensuring learning continues effectively and behaviour remains positive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering pre‑prepared lesson plans across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • Maintaining classroom discipline in line with school policies
  • Creating a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment
  • Encouraging student participation and focus
  • Providing feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour
