Academics Ltd is working with excellent secondary schools in and around the Swindon area, currently recruiting for Cover Supervisors to join them ASAP. We are looking for proactive, enthusiastic, and hardworking individuals to supervise lessons and support student learning. This role involves maintaining the school's high standards of behaviour when teachers are absent.

This is an outstanding opportunity for someone with previous experience working in education or for a graduate considering a career in teaching. There are also extensive opportunities to support children with SEN if this interests you.

Cover Supervisor Main Responsibilities:

• Manage the behaviour of the class to ensure students are working in a constructive learning environment.
• Supervise the work set by their subject teacher.
• Act as a role model and develop productive relationships with students.
• Demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding and the health and safety of students.

The Ideal Cover Supervisor:

• Previous experience working in a school setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• The ability to manage challenging behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
• A passion for education and a commitment to supporting students in their learning
