Job summary

CER Education are expanding our team of Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across Luton and surrounding areas. This role offers £100-£130 per day with flexible, ongoing work and immediate starts.

You’ll gain classroom experience across Key Stages 3 and 4 and build a solid foundation for a future career in education. Ideal candidates have secondary school or youth setting experience, knowledge of the national curriculum, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a secondary school or youth setting.
• Good understanding of the national curriculum.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre‑planned lessons across a range of subjects.
• Manage classroom behaviour to maintain a productive environment.
• Encourage pupil participation and engagement during lessons.
• Record lesson feedback and pupil progress for teaching staff.
