Job summary

Mana Education is seeking Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across Leicester and surrounding areas. You will supervise classes during teacher absences, helping pupils stay focused and complete work set by schools.

No QTS required; relevant experience with young people and strong communication matter. Roles include day-to-day supply, short-term and long-term placements with potential permanent opportunities.

Qualifications

• A degree or education qualification can be useful but isn't essential for every vacancy.
• Relevant experience working with young people and clear communication matter.

Responsibilities

• Explain set tasks and check pupils understand instructions
• Maintain a calm, productive classroom
• Manage behaviour in line with the school's policy
• Encourage participation and help pupils stay on task
• Take registers and follow school procedures
• Collect completed work and provide feedback to teaching staff
• Report safeguarding or welfare concerns promptly
