Academics LTD works with numerous excellent secondary schools in and around the Cherwell area, currently recruiting for Cover Supervisors to join ASAP / September 2024. We are looking for proactive, hardworking, and enthusiastic individuals to oversee lessons and support students' learning while maintaining the schools' high standards for behaviour, especially when teachers are absent.

This role is ideal for someone with previous experience in the education sector or an aspiring teacher. It is also a great opportunity for graduates taking their first step into teaching. GCSEs in Maths or English (C or above) are required. There are also extensive opportunities to support SEN children if interested or passionate about this area.

Main responsibilities include:

• Managing student behaviour to ensure a constructive learning environment
• Overseeing work set by the class teacher
• Acting as a role model and developing positive relationships with students and staff
• Committing to safeguarding and health and safety of students

The ideal candidate will have:
