Job summary

Richard Lander School in Truro is seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis with an ASAP start.

The role involves supervising a range of classes and subjects during short-term teacher absences, maintaining good classroom order and keeping pupils focused, under the direction of teaching and senior staff. A DBS check is required and safeguarding rules apply.

The opportunity has arisen to appoint a Cover Supervisor to join our team at Richard Lander School.

The main purpose of this job is to provide effective cover supervision in a range of classes and
subjects in response to unforeseen short-term teacher absence, ensuring good order is maintained in
the classroom and pupils keep to task. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of
teaching / senior staff within an agreed system of supervision.
