Job summary

Vision for Education is the trusted MSP for the Advanced Learning Partnership. We are seeking confident Cover Supervisors to support ALP secondary schools across County Durham and the North East.

You can work on a flexible basis, from day-to-day to longer assignments, with access to regular opportunities and a dedicated consultant. Role involves delivering pre-planned lessons, managing pupil behaviour, and keeping learners engaged across various subjects.

Qualifications

• Experience with secondary school aged children or young people.
• Excellent behaviour management and communication skills.
• Confident leading a classroom independently.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Flexible and professional approach.
• A passion for supporting the progress of secondary pupils.

Responsibilities

• Deliver learning from pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects.
• Manage classroom behaviour and ensure pupil engagement throughout lessons.
• Support pupils to progress during day-to-day coverage within ALP schools.

£110.00 - £120.00 per day (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

Vision for Education is proud to be the Managed Service Provider (MSP) for the Advanced Learning Partnership (ALP) and is looking to appoint confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to work across the Trust's secondary schools.

As the exclusive provider of day-to-day, short-term and long-term supply staffing within ALP, we have consistent opportunities available throughout the academic year.

Working from pre-planned lessons, the successful Cover Supervisor will deliver learning across a range of subjects, manage classroom behaviour and ensure pupils remain engaged throughout the lesson.

Requirements

To be considered for the Cover Supervisor position, you will have:

• Experience working with secondary school aged children or young people.
• Excellent behaviour management and communication skills.
• Confidence leading a classroom independently.
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• A flexible and professional approach.
• A passion for supporting the progress of secondary school pupils.
