Job description

Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Prospero are looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to work within a school in the Wallasey area. The ideal candidate will have confidence in Mathematics, English, and a subject of their choice, and work well with secondary school-aged pupils.

Contract/Position Details

1. Type of work – Long Term
2. Contract type – Long-term Temporary
3. Pay – Paid to scale
4. Hours – 8:00 am – 4:00 pm

Experience, Training, and Qualifications

1. Teaching Assistant qualification or higher/equivalent (Desirable)
2. Previous experience working with young people
3. Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable but not essential; some training provided)

Eligibility Criteria

1. Hold Right to Work in the UK
2. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
3. Provide two professional references
