Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Cover Supervisor for a welcoming primary school in Basildon. You will deliver pre-planned lessons during PPA cover and support pupils across year groups to ensure learning continues when the class teacher is absent.

The role offers day-to-day or long-term opportunities, with competitive daily rates, and a dedicated consultant team available 24/7 to assist with onboarding and ongoing support.

Salary: £100 - £120 per day

The school is looking to appoint a dedicated Cover Supervisor on a Day-2-Day basis, with both full-time and part-time opportunities available. The successful Cover Supervisor will be responsible for delivering planned lessons during PPA cover, supporting pupils across all year groups, maintaining excellent classroom behaviour, and ensuring learning continues in the absence of the class teacher.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• Experience working within a Primary School setting
• Strong behaviour management skills

• The ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
