Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment in Slough is seeking reliable Cover Supervisors to support pupils across Primary, Secondary and SEN settings. Deliver pre-planned lessons, manage behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.

Roles offer flexibility with daily supply, short-term and longer-term placements across Berkshire; DBS requirement and right to work in the UK sought. Training and ongoing consultant support provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people in an educational or similar environment.
• Confidence leading groups of pupils independently.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• The ability to adapt quickly to different classrooms.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• The right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Delivering pre-planned lessons provided by teaching staff.
• Managing classroom behaviour using each school's behaviour policy.
• Encouraging pupils to remain focused and complete set work.
• Providing support to individuals and small groups where appropriate.
