Long-Term Teachers support schools across Redruth & Camborne, and we are seeking dedicated and passionate cover supervisors to join our team. Our schools are committed to providing a nurturing and supportive environment for all students, including those with special educational needs.

About the role:

  1. Supervise classes in the absence of the teacher, ensuring a positive and safe learning environment
  2. Support students with SEN, helping them overcome barriers to learning
  3. Implement pre-prepared lesson plans, ensuring students stay on task and manage disruptions
  4. Collaborate with support staff
  5. Promote safeguarding and the welfare of all students

About you:

  1. Experience working with children, preferably within an educational or coaching setting
  2. Patient, empathetic, and dedicated
  3. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students in their learning
  4. Strong understanding of SEN and strategies to support young people
  5. Adaptable with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  6. Able to drive and have access to your own car
