Academics is working with a number of excellent secondary schools across Plymouth and surrounding areas who are seeking confident, adaptable individuals to help cover classes across various subjects. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain school-based experience without needing a formal teaching qualification - ideal for graduates or those with classroom experience.

About the Role:

• Supervise pre-set lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher
• No planning or marking required - just keep pupils on task
• Build positive relationships and manage behaviour effectively
• Cover a range of subjects across KS3 to KS5

Requirements:

• A degree or previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar role
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
• Strong classroom presence and confidence in managing behaviour
• A proactive, flexible approach
