Job summary

The Abbey School in Ospringe is seeking a part-time Cover Supervisor to start in November 2026. You will support students' learning across the school and help maintain a positive classroom environment.

The role is 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only, paid on the Kent Range Scheme at Entry level with a pro rata salary of about £20,109 per year. This is a permanent position with opportunities for professional development.

Job description

The Abbey School is seeking to appoint a highly effective Cover Supervisor, to start from November 2026.

Join our team as a Cover Supervisor and play a key role in supporting students' learning across the school. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and is confident managing a classroom.

This is a part time, permanent role, Term Time Only, paid on the Kent Range Scheme point KSC (Entry) (FTE £26,956 - actual salary calculated on a pro rata basis which equates to £20,109 per annum).

The working pattern will consist of 32.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid break each day.
