Job summary

Mana Education is recruiting Cover Supervisors to work in a variety of welcoming secondary schools across Northampton and the surrounding areas.

This role offers flexibility with day-to-day and long-term assignments, a competitive daily pay of £110-£130, and the chance to gain valuable classroom experience while fitting around your lifestyle.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in UK schools or experience working with secondary-aged children or young people
• Confident communication and classroom management skills
• A calm, professional and reliable approach
• A genuine interest in education and helping young people succeed
• Own transport is advantageous but not essential

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials in the teacher's absence
• Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment
• Manage classroom behaviour confidently and professionally
• Encourage students to remain engaged with their learning
• Work across a variety of subjects and year groups
• Build experience in a range of local secondary schools
• No planning or marking is normally required, allowing you to focus on supporting pupils and maintaining high classroom standards

Location: Northampton, Wellingborough, Daventry, Towcester, Brackley, Rushden, Kettering, Corby, Raunds and surrounding areas.

Pay: £110 - £130 per day (depending on experience and placement)

Contract Types: Flexible Day-to-Day | Long-Term | Full-Time | Part-Time

The Role
