Cover Supervisor

TeacherActive are currently recruiting for a Cover Supervisor for work in mainstream secondary schools in the Mansfield area for an immediate start. This role encompasses all year groups from years 7 to 11, up to year 13 in schools that have 6th form sections. The role of Cover Supervisor is vital and valued within the school, helping to ensure continuity of provision for students across all age groups.

The Cover Supervisor will manage the children in the classroom and ensure they are working on the tasks set. The lesson plans will be provided by the teacher you are covering, and all work will be handed to you by your line manager.

The ideal Cover Supervisor will have:

1. Experience working with children aged between 3-18 (tutoring, mentoring, 1-1, coaching etc.)
2. Good classroom management skills
3. Excitement about working with children
4. Ability to be proactive and get involved
