COVER SUPERVISOR
Career Teachers is working with secondary schools and sixth forms across East London that are looking for Cover Supervisors for day-to-day and short-term flexible cover, with the potential to become long-term. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a flexible basis or gain valuable experience within schools.
The Role:
A Cover Supervisor works in schools providing support to current teaching teams by covering classes and ensuring students are engaged in learning. This is a key role within secondary schools in the absence of a teacher. The role has grown significantly in recent years, and almost every secondary school now engages Cover Supervisors.
The Cover Supervisor is in sole charge of classroom control and ultimately responsible for the safety and supervision of students.
