Cover Supervisor – Maidstone

If you can think on your feet, keep students engaged, and bring energy to the classroom, this fantastic secondary school in Maidstone is looking for a proactive and reliable Cover Supervisor to keep learning on track when teachers are away. This isn’t just about watching over a class, it’s about creating a positive atmosphere, keeping students focused, and making sure every lesson count.

Contract: Flexible Contracts

Salary: £110 - £120 per day

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the classroom with confidence, ensuring students stay engaged with pre-set work.
• Flexible and able to commit to short or longer term contracts.
• Keep the energy high while maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.
• Support students with their learning, offering guidance where needed.
• Work across different subjects and year groups, adapting to various classroom needs.
• Communicate with teaching staff to ensure smooth transitions and handovers.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience working with young people in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills—you’ll be the go-to person when teachers are away!
