Qualifications

• Previous experience as a cover supervisor is desirable but not essential.
• Legal right to work in the UK.
• Willingness to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure.

Job description

Role - Cover Supervisor

Start Date - ASAP

Daily rate - 90 - 110 a day depending on experience

Location - Maidstone

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking enthusiastic and passionate cover supervisors to support a range of secondary schools in the Maidstone area.

The Role:

• Supervise and manage behaviour in the classroom during staff absence
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans effectively
• Manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment
• Provide support to students as needed
• Ensure adherence to school policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to varying classroom environments
• Previous experience as a cover supervisor within a classroom setting is desirable but not essential
• Ability to manage behaviour effectively
• Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
• Legal right to work in the UK
