Veritas Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to work in a range of secondary schools across Burnley and the surrounding areas.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes in the absence of the teacher, ensuring students remain on task and engaged with the work that has been set. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced teaching assistants, youth workers, sports coaches, or anyone with experience working with young people.

The Role:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively
• Support students in completing set work
• Maintain a positive and productive learning environment
• Work on a flexible day-to-day, short-term, or long-term basis

We Are Looking For:

• Confident and professional individuals
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with young people is desirable
• Strong classroom management abilities
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
