Job summary

Kingswinford Academy, part of Windsor Academy Trust, is seeking a Cover Supervisor to provide classroom cover during teacher absence. The successful candidate will help maintain high standards, manage behaviour and support students with learning.

The role is 37 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks), SCP 8-11 (£23,174.60 - £24,313.30) Actual. Closing date 17th September 2026. ASAP start preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervising classroom activities or supporting students in a school setting is desirable.
• Strong behavior management and ability to maintain good classroom order.
• Excellent communication and teamwork with teaching staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom cover for lessons as directed by teaching staff.
• Implement set work and supervise students during teacher absence.
• Support students to reach learning objectives and maintain high standards.

Cover Supervisors provide classroom cover for students, implementing set work during teacher absence. The successful candidate will have the ability to maintain our high expectations, discipline in the classroom and support students with learning.
