• Previous experience with children or young people in a school, coaching, youth work, mentoring or care setting.
• Previous Cover Supervisor experience is desirable but not essential.
• Strong behaviour management and the confidence to lead a classroom independently.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A calm, confident and adaptable approach.
• A professional presence and ability to establish positive relationships with pupils.

• Delivering pre-set lessons across a range of secondary subjects in the absence of the class teacher.
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.

We're currently recruiting for a Cover Supervisor in Hyde to support welcoming secondary schools on a short-term, long-term or temp-to-perm basis. This Cover Supervisor job in Hyde is ideal for experienced Cover Supervisors, graduates, aspiring teachers, sports coaches, youth workers or anyone with experience working with children and young people who is confident leading a classroom.

You'll be joining supportive secondary schools across Hyde that value inclusion, student wellbeing and high expectations. Your Main Responsibilities
