A well-regarded secondary school in Hyde is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to join their team from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced classroom support staff who are looking to take the next step in education.
Supervise lessons across a range of subjects during staff absence (no planning or marking required)
Ensure students remain on task and follow the school's behaviour and learning expectations
Manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment
Deliver set work provided by the class teacher
Support pupils with questions and encourage engagement with the lesson
Location: Hyde, Tameside
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time or part-time available (flexible to suit you)
Pay: £89.38 – £100 per day (depending on experience)
Hours: Typically 8:15am – 3:15pm

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
