Job Details

• Job Title: Cover Supervisor
• Salary: Up to £25,000.00 per annum depending on experience (not pro rata)
• Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm
• Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only

As part of our continued growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for a Cover Supervisor to join our close-knit team at Underley Garden School, part of Options Autism.

About the role

The main objective is to provide high-quality teaching and learning cover across the school. Responsibilities include leading classes, managing challenging behaviours, and ensuring pupils meet lesson objectives. This role is crucial for maintaining consistency and continuity of education, especially during teacher absences.

Key Responsibilities

• Cover timetabled classes and general absences
• Deliver lessons and handle challenging behaviour
• Ensure students stay focused and meet objectives
• Prepare classrooms for lessons

You will also contribute to:

• Development and implementation of pupils’ personal and social development policies
• Induction of pupils and baseline assessments
• Promoting good behaviour and discipline
