Do you enjoy working with young people aged 11 – 18? Have you considered working in Secondary Schools as a Cover Supervisor?

We are working with a range of Secondary Schools across London who are looking for confident, professional and dedicated people to work as Cover Supervisors in their schools to provide short-term and daily cover for teachers.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will work in secondary schools covering classes and ensuring students are engaged with tasks while teachers are absent or occupied with meetings. This role is vital within secondary schools, facilitating smooth daily operations.

This is a great opportunity to work flexibly and gain experience within secondary education.

Cover Supervisors are required for the full school day, approximately 8.30 am to 3.45 pm.

Flexible work options

Most Cover Supervisors start on short-term or supply contracts, ideal for those seeking part-time work or experience in secondary schools. Full-time contracts are also available for experienced candidates.

Requirements to become a Cover Supervisor

No formal qualifications are necessary, but experience working with 11-18-year-olds is required.

This role is suitable for:

• Individuals supporting young offenders

An Enhanced DBS certificate and two references from the past two years are required. Assistance in obtaining a DBS is available if needed.
