Job summary

St Dominic’s School, part of Orchard Hill College and Academy Trust in Surrey, is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team. The role focuses on delivering cover for lessons across a 36-hour week, term time only, with supportive on-site therapeutic services for students aged 7–19 with diverse needs.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of excellent classroom cover (2/3 of role).
• Managing and organising cover arrangements for planned and unplanned staff absences, both teaching and non-teaching (1/3 of role).
• Mentoring of supply and cover staff.
• Safeguarding, health & safety, and behaviour management.
• Contribution to multi-disciplinary and collaborative working.
• Line management and mentoring of supply staff, both teaching and non-teaching.

Salary: Grade S4, scale point 24 – 27; FTE £30,968.00 - £33,540.00; Actual: £26,517.87 £28,720.27; Dependent on qualifications and experience

Working Pattern: 36hrs/week; 07:30-16:00, Monday to Thursday, 7:30-14:30 Friday, Term Time Only

Key Responsibilities:
