You should have a passion for working with young people to ensure they can fulfill their potential. This is an excellent opportunity to gain a clear understanding of a school’s day-to-day operation if you are interested in undertaking ‘Teacher Training’ in the future.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have excellent communication skills, both oral and written, including presentation skills.
  • Be able to manage, supervise, and direct the activities of children and young people.
  • Be proficient in the use of ICT and the software programmes used in schools.
  • Be able to deploy a range of strategies and techniques to encourage positive behaviour and maintain order and discipline.
  • Become familiar with relevant curriculum information and teaching methods.

The successful candidate will become part of an oversubscribed, flourishing school for girls aged 11 to 18, with confident, courteous, articulate students and an ethos of empowerment. The school is committed to providing the best learning opportunities in a safe, secure, and friendly environment with dedicated colleagues who strive for excellence.

In return, we can offer you:

  • Welcoming and friendly colleagues.
  • A stimulating and welcoming learning environment with excellent facilities, including a farm, an art gallery, and our own railway.
  • High-quality CPD, including NPQ and other further qualifications. Opportunities to teach across all Key Stages.
  • Strong links with girls’ schools in the UK and abroad through the International Coalition of Girls Schools (ICGS).
  • Access to the Schools Advisory Service (SAS), the Trust’s employee well-being support and medical programme, including 24-hour access to a GP helpline, counselling, stress management, and more.
  • A colleague Support Pack regularly updated with local financial guidance, schemes, and support.
  • Links with the local community, including our charity partner, The Trussell Trust Food Bank.
  • Increased priority in admission to our school for your children.
  • Proximity to the M25, Romford Railway Station (Elizabeth Line), and on a main bus route.
