Job summary

Teaching Consultancy UK is recruiting Cover Supervisors for secondary schools across Tower Hamlets. You will step in when teachers are absent, leading classes through set work and ensuring learning continues.

We value candidates with experience with secondary-age students, strong behaviour management and reliable, flexible attitudes. DBS checks and the right to work in the UK are required; roles are temporary/long-term/day-to-day with flexible options.

Location: Tower Hamlets, East London (Bethnal Green, Stepney, Poplar, Bow, Whitechapel, Limehouse)

Salary: £95 - £130

Job Type: Temporary / Long-term / Day-to-day (Full-time and flexible options)

About the Role

Teaching Consultancy is recruiting Cover Supervisors for secondary schools across Tower Hamlets. You'll step in when teachers are absent. You'll lead classes through set work, keep behaviour on track and make sure learning carries on.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading classes through lessons the class teacher has planned
• Maintaining a calm, focused learning environment
• Following school behaviour and safeguarding policies
• Reporting back to staff on progress and any issues

What We're Looking For

• Experience working with secondary-age students (school, youth work, tutoring or similar)
• Strong behaviour management and a confident presence
• Good communication skills
• Punctuality, reliability and a flexible attitude
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
• The right to work in the UK
