Location: Harrow, London
Salary: £100–£130 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time, Term Time Only

We are seeking a reliable and proactive Cover Supervisor to join a dynamic and supportive secondary school in Harrow. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and looking to gain valuable classroom experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of the assigned teacher

• Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects (no planning or marking required)

• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

• Support students in staying on task and engaging with the lesson material

• Provide feedback to the regular class teacher on pupil progress and behaviour

Requirements:

• Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths; A-levels or degree desirable

• Previous experience working with young people (in schools, tutoring, youth work, etc.)

• Strong classroom presence and excellent communication skills

• Ability to manage behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment

• Flexibility, resilience, and a proactive attitude
