Full – Time Cover Supervisor – Farnborough, Hampshire

Looking to kick-start your career in education or gain valuable classroom experience before becoming a teacher?

GSL Education are currently recruiting full-time Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in Farnborough, with roles starting ASAP or from September 2025. Offering a daily pay rate of £100 to £140, this is a fantastic opportunity to build your confidence and classroom management skills while making a real impact on students' learning.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher.
• Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe, respectful learning environment.
• Follow lesson plans and instructions left by the class teacher.
• Provide feedback to teachers on student engagement and behaviour.
• Support students in staying on task and understanding instructions.

Requirements:

• Strong classroom management and confidence leading groups.
• A genuine interest in pursuing a career in education.
• Experience working with young people is desirable but not essential.
• Adaptability and a calm, professional presence.
• Graduates or aspiring teachers are encouraged to apply.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
• Competitive daily rates of 100 - £140 (dependent on experience).
• Opportunity to workup to 5 days per weekif needed.
