As a Cover Supervisor, you ll step into the classroom when teachers are absent, delivering pre-set lesson plans and maintaining a positive learning environment. This is an ideal opportunity for graduates considering teacher training or a career in education.
Key Responsibilities:Supervise classes during teacher absences across a range of subjects.
Deliver lesson content as provided by the regular teacher.
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour.
Support students with their learning where possible.
A recent graduate (any discipline considered) with a passion for education.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Confidence in managing classroom dynamics.
A proactive, flexible, and positive attitude.
Previous school-based experience is not required, but any experience working with young people (e.g. mentoring, tutoring, coaching) is advantageous.
