Cover Supervisor

Location: Plymouth

Salary: £95-105 per day

Start Date: Immediately

GSL Education invites you to join our dynamic team as a Cover Supervisor across 2 secondary schools in Plymouth and Plympton. In this role, you will be at the heart of creating a learning environment that nurtures, engages, and supports students in reaching their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Classroom Supervision: During teacher absences, you will supervise classes, fostering a positive and productive atmosphere for learning.
2. Guidance and Support: Provide valuable guidance to students, ensuring they complete tasks to a high standard and empowering their academic pursuits.
3. Effective Communication: Address inquiries and deliver constructive feedback after cover lessons, contributing to ongoing improvement.
4. Collaborative Approach: Work with colleagues to ensure consistent approaches and support students with varying needs.
5. Student Well-being: Contribute to student well-being and foster a nurturing school community.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
• Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online Update Service or be willing to obtain one.
