Job summary

Milk Education is seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join schools within the Cramlington area on a full-time basis, starting in September. The role involves supervising classes, maintaining engagement with prepared work, and upholding the school’s behaviour policy while fostering a calm learning environment.

You will be supported with Cover Supervisor training to build confidence and practical skills before stepping into the classroom.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people in an educational, coaching, youth work, or similar setting is desirable.
• A degree (in any subject) or equivalent experience working with secondary‑aged students.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Confidence leading groups of students independently.
• A positive, adaptable, and proactive approach to working in different school environments.
• A genuine passion for supporting young people’s learning and development.

Responsibilities

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience, and the requirements of the assignment.
