Job summary

Foxford Community School is seeking a proactive Cover Supervisor to join our student support team. You will cover classes during short absences, maintaining high standards of learning and behaviour across year groups.

The role is permanent, 31.5 hours per week, during term time plus five training days, with a salary in the 26k–30k FTE range and pro rata scales for 31.5 hours. This post offers a clear pathway into teaching through mentoring and structured induction.

Foxford Community School – Cover Supervisor

Grade 4 – £26,868 - £30,515 FTE

Pro rata £19,200 - £21,823 (31.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year)

We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated professional to join our student support team as a cover supervisor, to play a vital role in the school. Covering for short periods of absence is a rewarding job and one that provides valuable experiences in the classroom, if you are looking for a stepping stone in order to get into teaching. You will need confidence, with the ability to inspire and enthuse our students, so that they maintain their learning in the absence of their regular teacher.
