Job summary

GSL Education is seeking a Cover Supervisor for a Wakefield secondary school. You will supervise pupils, deliver pre-set work across subjects and maintain an engaging learning environment throughout the 8:00am-3:30pm day.

This role offers long-term supply with the potential to become permanent, with a supportive school setting and opportunities to gain valuable experience in education.

Pay: £110-£130 per day

Hours: 8:00am - 3:30pm

Contract: Long-term supply, with the opportunity to become permanent

We are looking for a Cover Supervisor to join a welcoming secondary school in Wakefield.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and is confident managing a classroom environment. You will supervise pupils and deliver pre-set work across a range of subjects, ensuring students remain focused and engaged with their learning.

Your Responsibilities

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who is confident, reliable, organised and able to manage a classroom effectively.

Previous experience working in a school or with young people is desirable, but we would also consider candidates with experience in youth work, sports coaching, mentoring, tutoring or similar settings.

Most importantly, you will:
