Job summary

GSL Education is seeking a Cover Supervisor for a welcoming secondary school in Wakefield. You will supervise pupils, deliver pre-set work across subjects, and help keep the class focused and engaged throughout the 8:00am–3:30pm day.

This long-term supply role offers progression potential, a structured school environment, and the chance to gain valuable experience in education while making a real difference to students' learning.

Qualifications

• Strong classroom management skills.
• Experience with or alongside young people desirable.
• Experience in youth work, sports coaching, mentoring, or tutoring is considered.

Pay: £110-£130 per day

Hours: 8:00am - 3:30pm

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who is confident, reliable, organised and able to manage a classroom effectively.

Previous experience working in a school or with young people is desirable, but we would also consider candidates with experience in youth work, sports coaching, mentoring, tutoring or similar settings.
