Connex Education are seeking an experienced Cover Supervisor to join our team at a forward thinking secondary school. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a positive and focused classes during the absence of the Teacher. The role will involve managing the behavior of the classroom, providing support where needed and ensuring the students complete the work set by the regular Teacher.

This role will start from the 2nd September and will last until the end of the academic year.

The school are open to a part time Cover Supervisor (2-3 days per week) and also have a Full Time role available.

Person Specification

• Previous experience working in a challenging secondary school environment is advantageous.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
• Resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• An enhanced DBS on the update service or prepared to apply for a new one.
• An outstanding practitioner with high expectations.
