Job summary

REESON Education is seeking a Cover Supervisor for a mixed secondary school and sixth form in South East London. The position is part-time and temporary with immediate start.

You will cover lessons independently, manage pupil behaviour, assist pupils with set work, and pass on handovers to the team. Suitable for a recent graduate or an experienced Cover Supervisor, with right to work in the UK and Enhanced DBS in place.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK.
• Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS.
• UK Bachelor's Degree or an overseas equivalent.
• Experience of working with children/teenagers or as a Cover Supervisor in schools.

Responsibilities

• Cover different lessons independently in the absence of regular class teachers.
• Manage pupil behaviour in line with school policies.
• Assist pupils in completing the set work with materials and resources provided.
• Provide handovers to the team regarding pupils' behaviour and learning.

A Cover Supervisor is needed in a Mixed Secondary School & Sixth Form in South East London.

This Cover Supervisor position will be part time and temporary.

If appointed as a Cover Supervisor your duties will include but not be limited to:

• Covering different lessons independently in the absence of the regular class teachers
• Managing pupil behaviour in line with the schools policies
• Assisting pupils in completing the set work with materials and resources provided
• Providing handovers to the team in relation to pupils behaviour and learning

The rates of pay for this Cover Supervisor post will be between £85.50 to £125 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.

An Academy for pupils aged 11 to 18 years old, located in the London Borough of Bexley.

The school's history dates back to 2008.
