Job summary

REESON Education is seeking a Cover Supervisor for a coeducational secondary school in Essex. The role offers both part-time and full-time options and is temporary initially.

Responsibilities include supervising classes when teachers are absent, managing pupil behaviour according to school policy, ensuring students complete work, and providing feedback on pupil behaviour to the team. The school accommodates pupils aged 11–18 in Wickford, established in 2013 with just under 1200 pupils.

Qualifications

• UK Bachelor’s Degree or overseas equivalent.
• Enhanced DBS (Clear and up to date).
• Right to work in the UK.
• Experience with children/teenagers or UK secondary schools as a Cover Supervisor.

A Cover Supervisor is needed in a Coeducational Secondary School & Sixth Form in Essex.

This Cover Supervisor position can be part or full time and will be temporary in the first instance.

If appointed as a Cover Supervisor your duties will include but not be limited to:

• Supervising classes in the absence of the class teacher
• Managing pupil behaviour in line with the schools policies
• Ensuring students complete their work
• Providing feedback to the team in relation to pupils behaviour

The rates of pay for this Cover Supervisor post will be between £85.50 to £130 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.

The School

A Mixed Academy for pupils aged 11 to 18 years old, located in Wickford.

It was established in 2013and there are just under 1200 pupils on enrolment.

Pupils arrive on site at 8:20am and the last period is at 3:15pm.

Requirements

You're welcome to apply if you're a recent Graduate or experienced Cover Supervisor.

Applications are also welcome if you're a British trained Cover Supervisor or overseas trained Cover Supervisor.
