Purpose:

Deichmann Shoes has an exciting opportunity to join our growing business as a Cover Store Manager, supporting our store in Harrow and surrounding areas.

Stores covered include: Harrow, Watford, Hounslow, Staines, Slough, Uxbridge, and other stores within a reasonable commuting distance.

We offer a competitive salary of £33,500 per annum for this full-time, permanent role. You must be fully flexible to work across the week.

Our Cover Managers are fast-track, high-potential managerial talents. After initial training, they gain understanding of store operations by providing managerial cover across a cluster of stores, with travel within a defined geographical area.

Upon completing training, Cover Managers are well-positioned for promotion to Store Manager.

Ideal candidates will have previous supervisory or management experience in retail or a similar setting and be eager to advance their careers in store management.

Key activities:

1. Motivate and coach the team to deliver excellent customer service.
2. Lead by example in promoting and upselling products.
3. Draft rotas aligned with payroll budgets.
4. Manage stock effectively.
5. Analyze sales figures and reports.
6. Ensure all company standards are implemented and maintained, including merchandising and administration.
7. Work towards targets and achieve KPIs.
8. Assist with recruitment and team development.
