Job summary

Ridgeway Academy is seeking a Cover/Learning Supervisor to join its supportive team. The post is paid on the H4/H5 SCP scale (£26,847–£30,515) pro-rata for hours and weeks worked, with actual salary quoted as £21,722.18–£24,690.18, reflecting the term-time arrangement and holiday entitlement.

Hours are 8:00am–3:30pm (35 hours), Monday to Friday. Weeks cover 39 weeks plus INSET days, with a weighting of 0.8708028 for holiday and term-time adjustments.

Qualifications

• Experience with teaching or supervising learners is desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Flexible, adaptable and able to manage changing tasks.
• Demonstrates empathy and understanding when supporting learners.
• Capable of working independently or as part of a team.
• Proficient with basic computer systems and data entry.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and basic IT skills.
