A public sector client in Gloucester is seeking a temporary Court Usher to support courtroom operations. This full-time role involves setting up courtrooms, managing schedules, and assisting court users. Our public sector client, based in Gloucester Town Centre, is recruiting for a Court Usher (Band F) to join their team as a temporary employee. This role is currently temporary with a good chance of extension. It is a full-time position, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with working hours around 8am - 4pm or 9am - 5pm, depending on business needs. The pay rate is £12.21 per hour, paid weekly.
This role is fully onsite with no hybrid or remote working options.
Strong face-to-face customer service experience is desirable. The role involves interacting with people from all walks of life.
The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check, which is free of charge.
