Job Opportunity: Law Reporter

If you are a qualified solicitor or have been called to the bar (pupillage not essential) and are seeking a change of pace, consider becoming a valued law reporter for our prestigious legal publishing client. This role involves attending hearings, recording notes on significant judgments, summaries, and rulings, and liaising with management on publication matters.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Attending court hearings and recording detailed notes on judgments, rulings, and summaries.
  2. Proofreading, editing, and formatting judgments to match in-house style guidelines.
  3. Communicating with judges and court staff for approval of reports.
  4. Managing your schedule to meet deadlines and handling administrative tasks such as archiving cases.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified solicitor or called to the bar.
