Court of Protection Solicitor

This Top Tier Legal 500 ranked firm seeks a Court of Protection Solicitor with 2+ PQE to join a well-established department located in South-East London.

The Firm:

Based in South-East London, this firm has an excellent heritage and a strong client base. They are planning ambitious growth over the next 18 months, making it an exciting time to join. The firm has a history of developing legal talent from NQ to Partner levels.

The Role:

This role involves representing protected parties and family members in complex health and welfare proceedings before the Court of Protection and the High Court. Responsibilities include handling cases related to Mental Capacity, Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Judicial Reviews, LPAs, carers' rights, and issues under the Care Act 2014. The team is small but busy, and the successful candidate should be able to work independently and aim to progress within the team.

Requirements & Salary:

• You will be a Court of Protection Lawyer with 2+ PQE.
• You will have a passion for Court of Protection work.
• You will possess excellent communication skills.
• You are ambitious and eager to advance your career.
• You are a self-starter.
