About The Role

Level: 5

Department: Distribution

Location: London - hybrid working

Contract: Permanent

You will be responsible for developing the business plan for our integrated financial planning and investment management services for deputies and personal injury lawyers. As the lead specialist, you will develop and pitch for new business, leveraging your deep expertise and empathy when dealing with end clients.

  • Develop and execute the annual business plan to expand relationships with professionals in this field, working with Heads of Business Development and key professionals.
  • Collaborate on proposition design, pricing, and promotion; act as our media spokesperson.
  • Continuously improve our propositions to maintain market leadership.
  • Lead regional and London office pitches for new business, acting as the expert.
  • Participate fully in the pitch process with end clients, working with investment managers and financial planners.
  • Contribute to training on court of protection services across the business.
Consumer Duty

This role directly impacts customer outcomes by identifying target markets and ensuring propositions meet their needs. You will work with proposition teams to keep offerings aligned and appropriate.

About You

This is a Certification role requiring relevant qualifications.

  • Highly collaborative with significant gravitas.
  • Proven experience with deputies and personal injury lawyers, as a lawyer, investment manager, financial planner, or business developer.
  • Strong business development skills, including pitching and presentation.
  • Numerical skills with understanding of pricing in personal injury wealth management.
  • Professional qualifications in Investment Management or Financial Planning, as required by regulatory authorities.
